Cryptography on constrained devices
Hlinka, Jan ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
This thesis describes the implementation of a verifier, revocation authority and issuer side of an attribute authentication algorithm, using device with limited performance capabilities. Chosen scheme, RKVAC, functions as an attribute authentication protocol. Which are a protocols designed to protect private user data. RKVAC Scheme complies with Privacy by Design and Privacy by Default principles, which are a part of regulations such as GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation) and eIDAS (Electronic Identification and Trust Services).
Attribute Authentication on Android Platform
Strakoš, Jan ; Ricci, Sara (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
This master’s thesis focuses on implementation of ABC (Anonymous attribute-based credential) pilot system on the Android platform. The support for attribute authentication on the Android platform is very weak in terms of the number of implementations and needs a special attention. The theoretical part of the thesis describes the cryptographic support on the Android platform, the use of the Android Native Development Kit (NDK) and the Host-Card Emulation (HCE) service. The theoretical part of the thesis also includes a description of attribute authentication schemes, including a pilot RKVAC system. The practical part describes the implementation of the RKVAC system on the Android platform along with the implementation of a custom cryptographic kernel based on the native MCL cryptographic library. The practical part of this thesis describes implementation proces of RKVAC system on Android plaform, that uses native cryptographic library MCL. The final part shows the results of time, memory and computation difficulty of developed applications.
Web-based visualization of anonymous credential scheme
Sohr, Jakub ; Malina, Lukáš (referee) ; Dzurenda, Petr (advisor)
This thesis explores attribute based credential schemes and the cryptographic preliminaries that are the building blocks of such schemes. The main focus of this thesis is the RKVAC scheme, which is implemented and visualized. This thesis also describes the entities and protocols of the RKVAC scheme and their roles within it. The implemented web application is designed to introduce the RKVAC scheme to the public.
Cryptography and Privacy Protection
Malík, Ondrej ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Hajný, Jan (advisor)
The main goal of this diploma thesis was to create web applications for issuer, verifier and revocation authority of revocable keyed-verification anonymous credentials system. Applications created in this thesis provide functions for all tasks, that are performed by each entity. Using these applications a global management of RKVAC system is possible. Authentication module created in verifier’s app is universaly usable for access control to any web service. Both issuer’s and revocation authority’s app are compatible with whole RKVAC system and are therefor applicable as central elements of systems.
Modern Privacy-Preserving Cryptography Protocols
Hlučková, Pavla ; Dzurenda, Petr (referee) ; Malina, Lukáš (advisor)
This thesis examines the intersection of two modern and growing branches of cryptography, namely privacy enhancing technologies and post-quantum cryptography. It describes selected privacy enhancing schemes (PETs) and families of post-quantum cryptography. In more detail, it focuses on group signatures based on mathematical problems that are difficult or intractable for both conventional and quantum computers. Furthermore, the thesis surveys the state of the art and compares the efficiency of mentioned schemes based on available data. The main part of this thesis is an implementation of a hash-based group signature and its comparison with lattice-based and code-based group signature implementations which were obtained directly from cryptographers active in this field. The post-quantum group signatures are subsequently compared to classic group signature schemes implemented by using the libgroupsig library.
